Mission of TAK
Tau Alpha
Kappa established itself as a fraternal organization, and as such, seeks to,
first-and-foremost, advance The Brotherhood established by its Charter.
Additionally,
The Brothers of Tau Alpha Kappa endeavor
to uphold the highest standards in the pursuit of benevolent and
worthwhile causes, including the advancement of the Alpha Chapter, the
planning of & participating in special events, providing for the
continual growth of the Cancer
& Heart Disease Scholarship Fund and other meaningful activities.
TAK
has recently made it possible for anyone, regardless of affiliation, to
participate in the TAK Scholarship Fund
Roundtable. Admission into The
Roundtable is a lifetime honor, and is bestowed upon anyone who
has met the lifetime contribution level of at least $1,000.00 to the
scholarship fund.
The TAK
Scholarship Fund Roundtable consists of five levels, with the
highest level attained when lifetime donations of any contributor reaches
$10,000.00. Honors and privileges bestowed at each level remain as a
legacy, in the name of the contributor, in perpetuity, with the
scholarship fund.
